The Canadian Journal of Family Law offers credit, summer, volunteer and work study positions to UBC Faculty of Law students.

Credit Positions

With permission, UBC law students may register to work on the Journal throughout the academic year for two credits. Credit students may work as Contributing Editors, which involves pre-reading submissions, text-editing manuscripts and cite-checking footnotes.

Summer Positions

The Journal offers one to two paid positions each summer. UBC law students who will be entering their second year of law school in September are eligible to apply to these positions.

Volunteer Positions

UBC law students are encouraged to volunteer as Contributing Editors. These positions involve pre-reading submissions, text-editing manuscripts and cite-checking footnotes.

Work Study Positions

The Journal offers one to two work study positions each academic year. The work study positions available each year are posted on UBC's Career Services website.

For further information on these positions, please e-mail the Journal with "Attention Senior Editor" in the subject line.
