Feminist Law Student Resources

There are many resources on the experience of women law students and women in the legal profession. The following bibliography of publications covers a wide range of issues faced by many (entering) in the legal profession to reflect a diverse range of people who enter law school.

Anti-Discrimination Bibliography

The UBC Law Women's Caucus has put together a set of tips for first year women law students:

Tips for First Year Women Law Students

There are also several student groups with which you may wish to become involved. Getting involved with student groups is a great way to meet other interesting students and make use of all your new-found knowledge.

Women's Caucus

Law Students for Choice and Reproductive Justice (LSFC)

Social Justice Action Network (SJAN)

Law Students of Colour United (LSCU)

Remember that the Centre for Feminist Legal Studies is a great place to for students to study, discuss classes and social issues, and to relax outside of the law school! During the year, feel free to drop by - we have got a fantastic space with comfy couches, work spaces, a computer and internet access.
