CLSA Mentorship ProgramINTRO The CLSA Mentorship Program custom matches CLSA student "mentees" with local Christian lawyer "mentors" for a one year mentorship relationship commitment. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet once or twice per semester over coffee, a meal, or as a job shadowing venture. Mentorship relationships often last longer than the first year if the mentor and mentee established a positive connection. WHY APPLY? CLSA student mentees are strongly encouraged to apply because this is a unique opportunity to establish a close connection with a mentor who can not only share advice on the general practice of law, but on how to practice law as a follower of Christ. With the shared faith comes opportunity to truly explore what "integration of faith into practice" and "work/life balance" mean to a Christian lawyer. THE MATCHING PROCESS Mentors and Mentees will be matched primarily according to practice area, but size of firm preference, gender and other characteristics can be noted by the mentee to aid in the selection process. The goal is to find the best "fit" for each match! HOW TO APPLY Interested students can apply by picking up a Mentee Application Form at the CLSA booth on Clubs day and handing in the application in the manila envelope on the CLSA Bulletin Board in the Interaction Area. Extra application forms can also be found on the ClSA Bulletin Board.
