Statement of Faith

(which is also the Statement of Faith of the Christian Legal Fellowship as adopted September 30, 2005)

1. The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God are divinely inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21

2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19
-Our Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we affirm His virgin birth, sinless humanity, divine miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, ongoing mediatorial work, and personal return in power and glory.
1 Peter 1:20,21 1 Corinthians 15:3 to 8

3. The salvation of lost and sinful humanity is possible only through the merits of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, received by faith, and is characterized by regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8,9 Titus 3:5
-The Holy Spirit enables believers to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 14:16,17 John 14:25,26

4. Ultimately, God will judge the living and the dead.
