Admitted to Bar in California, Washington, Western District of Washington, United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, United States Supreme Court.

Administer an office of approximately 130 staff, including 90 lawyers. Co- counseled first King County "sexual predator" commitment jury trial, appeal in state supreme court , and remand to superior court . Co-counsel on initially successful Federal Habeas Corpus challenge to "predator" law. (Young v. Weston, 898 F. Supp. 744, 57 Cr.L.R. 1569, W.D. Wash., 1995, set aside in unpublished opinion, now on appeal).  Consulted on several aggravated homicide cases.

Amicus Curiae

Kansas v. Hendricks, 138 L. Ed.2d 501(1997), U.S. Supreme Court.

Mount Vernon v. Weston, 68 Wn. App. 411 (1992).  Held: denial of a motion to withdraw by over-worked trial counsel was abuse of discretion and new counsel should be appointed on appeal.

State v. Trull, 56 Wn.App 795, Court of Appeals, 1990.  Held: right to counsel for juveniles.
