Mike Cramsie

In 1994 Michael Cramsie was Managing Director (Chief Executive) of the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales.  This is the largest legal Aid commission in Australia, consisting of a staff of 550 and 20 regional offices throughout New South Wales.  At the time of the last conference he was Head of the Commonwealth Government's Office of Legal Aid and Family Studies.  He holds qualifications in Law and Arts from the Macquarie and Canberra Universities specialising in studies in administration and economics as well as law.  He is admitted to practice as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Supreme Court of The Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia.  He holds an unrestricted practising certificate issued by the Law Society of New South Wales.
