Roger Smith attends in his capacity
as Honorary Professor of Law at the University of Kent, Canterbury. His current full-time
post is Director of Training, Law Society of England and Wales.
 | From 1986 to 1998, he was Director of the Legal Action Group in
London. |
 | From 1980 to 1986, he was the solicitor to the Child Poverty Action
Group. |
 | Between qualifying as a solicitor in 1973 and 1980, he worked at
Camden Community Law Centre and was Director of West Hampstead Community Law Centre. |
Roger has written widely on matters relating to
